Job Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent
  • One to two years of related experience
  • Basic knowledge of customer service principles
  • Knowledge of food service function
  • Understanding of restaurant and kitchen operations
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Physical ability to lift between 20 and 100 lbs
  • Manual coordination to handle service tasks
  • Ability to bend, kneel, and maneuver in narrow spaces
  • Capability to stand continuously during shifts
  • Moderate comprehension and literacy to read records and special requests
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to use tact and understanding in customer service situations

Job Qualifications

  • High school education or equivalent
  • One to two years experience in a related position within this company or other organization(s)
  • Basic knowledge of customer service principles
  • Understanding of food service function
  • Familiarity with restaurant and kitchen operations

Job Duties

  • Full set up and tear down of each service
  • Lead and guide fellow servers to be the best
  • Keep station neat and clean while servicing guests per established policies and procedures
  • Work flexible shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Set tables in assigned area correctly and uniformly
  • Follow all opening and closing checklists and ongoing side work to ensure maximum efficiency
  • Coach fellow team members and assist in the moment when manager is not present
  • Break down buffets or other special food service tables and equipment
  • Assist management team in all areas as a supervisor when manager is not present
  • Greet and serve guests following guidelines set by policies and procedures regarding food and beverage service
  • Keep kitchen and storage areas clean according to management policies
  • Communicate needs and concerns clearly and timely to Manager on Duty
  • Complete all set-up and closing duties
  • Assist guests and act as supervisor when needed
  • Be vocal in pre-shifts and throughout shifts helping other staff stay on point and deliver on the brand promise
