The Lead Receptionist position at Brio Living Services within the Porter Hills Village administrative department is crucial in maintaining a smooth, welcoming, and professional environment. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- minimum of two years of experience in a clerical or administrative role
- strong typing skills with a minimum of 40 words per minute
- proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word Excel and Outlook
- experience with standard office equipment such as multi-line phone systems and printers
- ability to communicate effectively and professionally with diverse age groups including seniors
- sensitivity and professionalism in a senior care environment

Job Duties
- Guide the reception team including delegating daily tasks
- provide training and ongoing support to new and existing team members
- offer constructive feedback to support team performance and consistency
- greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or department
- manage visitor check-in and check-out processes and ensure compliance with security procedures
- answer screen and route phone calls while handling inquiries professionally
- report any suspicious activity or concerns to administration promptly
- maintain accurate and current resident and contact information
- monitor daily census and update records as needed
- assist staff and leadership with administrative tasks and front desk operations
- manage front desk transactions including basic cash handling and reconciliation
- address and resolve issues or concerns from visitors residents and team members
- provide clear information about community services policies and procedures
- perform other duties as assigned
