- 3+ years of experience in chemical process operations environment
- qualified on process
- good verbal and written communication skills
- proficiency with basic computer software including word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation programs
- performance-based leadership skill set
- incident commander training at ICS200 minimum level
- demonstrated strategic planning and problem-solving ability
- minimum one year process qualification
- knowledge of plant fire systems and alarms
- completed Hazmat technician level training
- understanding of IMS and gas monitoring systems
- knowledge of plant specific cylinder handling programs
- physical fitness for duty including ability to lift 50 pounds and climb ladders
- ability to medically qualify for respiratory protection use
- clean shaven for respirator use
- ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and support other sites as needed
Job Qualifications

- qualified in process for minimum one year
- demonstrated ability to troubleshoot problems
- demonstrated understanding of plant fire systems and alarms
- completed Hazmat technician level training from a certified body
- understanding of IMS and plant gas monitoring system
- understanding of the plant specific cylinder handling programs (PF, ERP, Cylinder Handling, PM)
- ability to medically pass a respiratory test and physical test in order to wear a full face respirator as required
- ability to effectively and proficiently communicate both verbally and written in English
