Sodexo is seeking a Lead Production Cook to join their team at the Mass General Brigham location in Somerville. This full-time position offers an hourly wage ranging from $28.00 to $30.00. As a Lead Production Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing and presenting nutritious and delicious food items across various meal periods including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special/catered events. The role requires a team-oriented individual who can efficiently reduce food waste while maintaining a warm and positive attitude that enhances customer satisfaction.
Your responsibilities will include accurately cooking and portioning hot and/or cold food items following recipes and product directions. This position may also involve preparing food for a la carte service and operating a grill station. As a lead, you may be called upon to support management with daily oversight of key kitchen functions and employees to ensure smooth operations. Punctuality and reliability are essential, as you will need to attend scheduled shifts on time with consistent regularity. Duties may vary depending on account needs and client requirements, reflecting the dynamic nature of the healthcare food service environment.

Job Duties

- Support management in the daily oversight of key functions and employees
- Attend work and show for scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity
- Perform other duties as assigned, depending on business necessities and client requirements
