From its origins in animated films to its expansive presence in theme parks, resorts, cruises, sports, news, and various media platforms, Disney continuously pioneers innovative ways to connect with its audience. This commitment to creating magical and unforgettable moments drives the company’s evolution, blending creative content with cutting-edge technology to set new standards within the industry. Disney’s culture fosters imagination, inclusivity, and technological advancement, making it an inspiring workplace for professionals passionate about innovation and storytelling.
Within this vast ecosystem, the Enterprise Technology division plays an essential role by delivering technology solutions that not only align with Disney’s business strategies but also promote operational efficiency and collaborative innovation across all segments. This group champions initiatives that enhance consumer experiences and support sustainable business growth, leveraging technology as a key driver for competitive advantage.
The Lead Product Manager role is situated within the Digital Experience and Strategy team under Workforce Technology (WFT), a team dedicated to enhancing digital experiences for Disney's employees through advanced, user-centric solutions. The position centers on shaping the company’s AI-enabled product strategy, focusing specifically on an intuitive AI chatbot designed to exceed employee expectations while driving measurable business results. This strategic role requires a forward-thinking product leader who can navigate the convergence of AI, digital innovation, and human resource technology to create impactful, high-quality products.
As a Lead Product Manager, the selected candidate will own the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch, overseeing the development of AI-enhanced digital solutions that make employee interactions smoother and more efficient. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams such as engineering, design, human resources, talent acquisition, and various business units within Disney Experiences, ESPN, Disney Entertainment, and International divisions, this leader ensures that the AI chatbot product vision remains clear and aligned with both business objectives and workforce needs.
The role demands expert strategic thinking to define and execute a product roadmap that incorporates emerging trends and new opportunities in AI and digital innovation. The Lead Product Manager will be responsible for managing stakeholders at all levels, ensuring product priorities address the needs of senior executives and end-users alike. They will guide research efforts including market analysis, user interviews, and data-driven decision-making, fostering continuous improvement based on performance metrics and user feedback.
Leadership extends beyond project management to mentoring junior product managers and fostering a collaborative team environment that upholds high standards of excellence and creativity. The successful candidate will execute go-to-market strategies to maximize product adoption and impact while maintaining a clear focus on overall employee experience enhancement.
This role is ideal for a seasoned product management professional with 7-10 years of experience, a strong grasp of AI integration in digital products, and a proven ability to operate within fast-paced, complex environments. The position offers a competitive salary range from $141,900 up to $199,400 annually depending on location and experience, along with bonuses, long-term incentives, and a comprehensive benefits package. Joining Disney means being part of an innovative team dedicated to pushing the boundaries of technology and storytelling to create extraordinary employee and consumer experiences worldwide.
