We are currently seeking a Lead Porter/Receiver for a full-time position at Pinterest, located at 651 Brannan Street, San Francisco, CA 94107. This role is scheduled Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with further schedule details discussed during the interview process. The Lead Porter/Receiver role is vital in supporting shift supervisors and department directors in ensuring the smooth daily operations of the department. This position demands a high level of commitment to quality through supervision, training, and active participation in achieving outstanding customer service. The successful candidate will serve as a positive leader by assigning and assisting team members, maintaining schedules, and ensuring compliance with departmental standards and safety protocols.

The Lead Porter/Receiver also acts as a key liaison between team members and management, stepping in to relieve the shift supervisor during absences and addressing staffing adjustments as necessary. They are responsible for monitoring equipment conditions, conducting quality assurance surveys, and engaging with customers and patients professionally, respecting their needs and age-based competencies. Compensation for this role is set at $30.00 per hour, and internal employee referral bonuses are available. Job Requirements

  • Two years of previous porter/leader experience is required
  • Ability to work full time from Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Willingness to comply with company policies and drug-free workplace standards
  • Must be located in or willing to commute to San Francisco, CA
  • Ability to use personal protective equipment properly
  • Must be able to conduct quality assurance and customer surveys as needed

Job Duties

  • Monitor and report any equipment issues or shortages
  • Conduct customer and patient surveys
  • Interact with patients/customers in an appropriate manner in relation to age based competencies
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or director
