Job Description
Reshaping HR is a consulting firm that specializes in providing recruiting and first-round interview services for their clients. They connect qualified candidates with reputable employers, ensuring a seamless hiring process for both parties. One of their valued clients, a long-established Appleton area company, offers comprehensive residential and commercial plumbing services. This company has built a strong reputation over many years by delivering quality workmanship and reliable service, making them a trusted name in the plumbing industry. As they experience growth, they are looking to expand their plumbing team and are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Lead Plumber to join their workforce.
The role of Lead Plumber is pivotal within the company, combining hands-on plumbing expertise with leadership and supervisory responsibilities. The Lead Plumber will be entrusted with installing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of plumbing fixtures including showers, tubs, toilets, sinks, faucets, water heaters, dishwashers, garbage disposals, and sump pumps. This position requires close collaboration with other construction professionals such as general contractors and electricians, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and up to code. The Lead Plumber will have to read and interpret building plans and blueprints, assigning and prioritizing tasks to team members, as well as providing technical guidance and training to less experienced staff.
Additionally, the Lead Plumber must be adept at troubleshooting complex plumbing issues and devising value-added solutions that meet customer needs. The position demands a high level of adaptability, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage challenging situations calmly and professionally. This opportunity is ideally suited to someone who enjoys mentoring new hires and leading crews, helping them develop their skills and grow within the company.
Working hours for this role are typically Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, with occasional on-call duties required. Compensation ranges from $38.00 to $45.00 per hour, reflecting the candidate's experience and qualifications. Comprehensive benefits include the employer covering 50 percent of the health insurance premium and 100 percent of other insurance costs such as life insurance, short and long-term disability, vision, and dental insurance. Paid sick leave, vacation time, and participation in a 401(k) retirement plan with company matching further enhance the attractive compensation package.
This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed Journeyman or Master Plumber who is self-motivated, communicative, and committed to delivering high-quality service and leadership within a growing, respected organization. Potential candidates will undergo a background check and drug test prior to employment, and a valid driver’s license with a good driving record is required due to the nature of the work. If you are ready to advance your career in plumbing and take on a lead role within a supportive team environment, this position could be the perfect fit for you.
