Job Description

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa is Oklahoma's premier gaming and resort destination, operated by Cherokee Nation Entertainment, one of the largest and most successful tribal businesses in the United States. This award-winning resort offers an engaging blend of excitement, luxury, and entertainment, featuring over 2,600 electronic, poker, and table games. It boasts 35,000 plus square feet of ultra-modern meeting and convention space that caters to business and social events, an 18-hole championship golf course, diverse dining options ranging from casual eateries to upscale restaurants, multiple entertainment venues, and a 2,700-seat event center known for hosting nationally acclaimed live performances. As the flagship property of Cherokee Nation Businesses' hospitality division, it combines high-quality amenities with a commitment to exceptional service, ensuring every guest experience is unique and memorable.

The Lead Player-Services Cashier role at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa is a key leadership position that significantly contributes to the delivery of a guest-focused gaming experience. This position oversees the daily cash handling operations within Player Services, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance with tribal, federal, state, and local gaming regulations. Those stepping into this leadership role will also take on the responsibility of mentoring and coaching team members to promote a high standard of service excellence. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic, high-energy environment, demonstrating strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.

In this role, the Lead Player-Services Cashier will be expected to process a variety of guest transactions including chip issuance and redemption, currency exchanges, check cashing, cash advances, slot ticket redemptions, and promotional voucher redemptions with accuracy and professionalism. They will be instrumental in enrolling guests in rewards programs, assisting with membership card issuance and account maintenance, and promoting casino promotions and special offers. Additionally, the role involves balancing funds at the beginning and end of shifts, processing jackpot payments, conducting transaction reporting, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Beyond transactional duties, the Lead Player-Services Cashier will monitor and maintain operational and promotional inventory, perform entry-level player evaluations, and manage ATMs and kiosks.

The environment requires a candidate who can manage multiple priorities while safeguarding company assets and maintaining confidentiality of guest information. The candidate should also be comfortable working flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and be able to operate effectively in a casino environment that includes noise and exposure to second-hand smoke. Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa offers a comprehensive benefits package that supports the health, financial security, and work-life balance of its employees. These include access to top-tier health plans, 24/7 telemedicine services, onsite health clinics, a generous 401(k) match, paid time off, and flexible spending accounts. Additionally, incentives based on performance, referral rewards, discounts, and holiday appreciation gifts create an engaging and rewarding workplace culture.

At Cherokee Nation Entertainment, employees are part of more than just a workplace; they become members of a community dedicated to excellence in hospitality, tribal commitment, and personal growth. The Lead Player-Services Cashier position is an exceptional opportunity to grow within a respected organization offering competitive benefits and a chance to influence the gaming and hospitality industry positively. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting with a focus on guest satisfaction and leadership development, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa welcomes your application. Join a brand that rocks and be part of a legacy that entertains and uplifts.
