The role available is for a Lead Material Handling Equipment Operator within Staples’ supply chain team. This position is vital to the company’s success in ensuring speedy and safe delivery of products to customers. As a Lead Operator, you will take on a leadership role by mentoring and training new material handlers and providing coverage for supervisors when necessary. Your typical workday involves operating forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, or electric pallet jacks to move products efficiently within the warehouse, while consistently maintaining a safe workspace. The role requires lifting, lowering, and carrying products in a fast-paced setting with a strong focus on safety and cleanliness. Adhering to safety procedures is paramount, and you will be responsible for promoting and enforcing a safety-first work culture.

The position operates on a shift schedule primarily covering 5:30 pm to 12:00 am on Saturdays and 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Sundays, providing flexibility for those seeking weekend work with competitive pay, starting at $25.25 per hour, including a shift differential.
