Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver license and auto liability insurance
  • Reliable transportation
  • Valid Type II or Universal EPA Certification
  • Ability to work any of the seven days of the week
  • Physical ability to continuously walk and move heavy objects
  • Ability to climb, stoop, bend, and grasp objects
  • Visual acuity to inspect small defects and parts

Job Qualifications

  • Experience leading a maintenance team
  • Strong mechanical and electrical repair skills

Job Duties

  • Supervise the maintenance team and any contract or temporary workers
  • Oversee contract work as outlined by the Property Manager
  • Work through the maintenance and make-ready team to ensure quality and timely turns
  • Supervise, motivate, develop, and participate in annual reviews for the maintenance team
  • Coach, mentor, and cross-train the team
  • Perform preventative maintenance as required and maintain activity records
  • Perform routine electrical repairs such as wiring, fuses, fixtures, sockets, and HVAC systems
  • Inspect, repair, modify and install HVAC equipment
  • Troubleshoot, repair or replace defective parts in units and their controls
  • Perform skilled electrical maintenance work including repair, installation and alteration of HVAC equipment
