As a Line Cook at Josie's Table, you will be an essential part of our back-of-house team, working in a dynamic and collaborative kitchen environment. This role entails preparing and executing dishes that meet our high standards for quality and presentation, ensuring that every plate that leaves the kitchen reflects the excellence Josie's Table is known for. You will engage with fresh, high-quality ingredients sourced from local farms, embodying our farm-to-table philosophy in every task you undertake. By maintaining a clean and organized station and adhering to detailed prep lists and recipes, you will contribute to seamless kitchen operations and exceptional service. This position requires working closely with the sous chef and executive chef to coordinate service effectively, manage timing efficiently, and uphold stringent sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations.

Job Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a professional kitchen
- Experience in fine dining or farm-to-table settings preferred
- Strong knife skills

Job Duties
- Prepare and execute dishes according to Josie's Table's standards of quality and presentation
- Set up and maintain a clean, organized station during service
- Follow prep lists and recipes accurately and efficiently
- Work closely with the sous chef and executive chef to ensure smooth service and proper timing
- Maintain a safe, sanitary work environment in compliance with health regulations
- Participate in daily prep, cleaning, and kitchen closing responsibilities
