Job Description
Geronimo Hospitality Group is an innovative and dynamic hospitality company known for its award-winning boutique hotels, restaurants, and clubs. This group prides itself on breaking away from conventional standards and creating unique destinations rather than mere stops. Their portfolio showcases a diverse range of chic and vibrant venues where creativity and excellence are at the forefront, encouraging team members to embrace a culture that challenges the status quo. At Geronimo Hospitality Group, the work environment is infused with passion, hard work, and a commitment to consistently deliver memorable guest experiences. Their team is made up of passionate individuals who enjoy working in places that foster growth, innovation, and fun while demanding professionalism and a competitive spirit.
One of the standout properties within the group is Truk't, a restaurant located in downtown Beloit that offers bold and worldly flavors. Known for its unconventional approach to food, Truk't serves standout dishes such as Peking duck tacos and house-made corn tortillas, alongside an impressive selection of over 100 global tequilas and whiskeys. The restaurant embraces a unique philosophy of being "properly unproper," setting itself apart as a destination where bold flavors and creative culinary techniques excite patrons.
The position available is for a Lead Line Cook on a part-time basis with a competitive hourly wage ranging from $17.00 to $18.00. The role is pivotal in maintaining the high standard of food quality and consistency expected at Geronimo Hospitality Group, particularly at Truk't. As a Lead Line Cook, you will be an essential team member responsible for preparing and cooking food with attention to detail, safety, and taste while contributing to the overall dining experience of members and their guests. You will collaborate closely with kitchen managers and executive chefs to ensure recipes are followed accurately, and your skills will help elevate every dish served.
This role involves opening and closing kitchen duties, adhering to strict ServSafe guidelines, and helping maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen workspace. The Lead Line Cook is also expected to have a strong knowledge of the menu, assist teammates where needed, and embody the company’s values of respect, positivity, and fun. The group values training and development, so opportunities for growth are available for those looking to build their futures within the hospitality industry.
Moreover, the Geronimo Hospitality Group offers a range of benefits that support work-life balance and personal well-being, including employee discounts, paid time off, 401K plans, comprehensive medical benefits, 24/7 online care, and pet insurance, among others. This blend of a supportive and stimulating work environment makes this role ideal for motivated culinary professionals who want to grow their careers while contributing meaningfully to a renowned hospitality brand.
