The Springs at Murrayhill, a part of The Springs Living community, is actively seeking an experienced Lead Line Cook to join their culinary team. This role is essential in maintaining the highest standards of food quality and presentation while fostering a positive and professional kitchen culture. Reporting directly to the Executive Chef and working alongside the Food & Beverage Director, the Lead Line Cook will play a critical role in supporting kitchen operations and leading the dining team to deliver exceptional dining experiences to residents. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in upholding the community’s commitment to quality and resident satisfaction.
The Lead Line Cook is responsible for preparing meals that meet the exacting standards of The Springs Living menus, ensuring consistent portion control, and accommodating special dietary needs. This position requires a skilled culinary professional who can manage food safety, sanitation, and health department requirements meticulously. Additionally, the Lead Line Cook will supervise kitchen staff in the absence of the Food & Beverage Director, assist in food inventory and ordering processes, and handle resident dining concerns promptly and professionally.
The ideal candidate for this role brings strong culinary expertise paired with excellent leadership and teamwork skills. A culinary certificate or formal training is preferred, but extensive professional experience is highly valued. The role demands a commitment to quality, consistency, and outstanding service in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen environment.
