Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a professional kitchen
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Strong communication skills
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and handle kitchen tasks
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques
  • Understanding of health and safety standards
  • Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Previous experience in a lead cook or sous chef role preferred

Job Duties

  • Preparing food for cooking or serving
  • Following orders from head chef or supervisors
  • Stocking work stations with necessary equipment
  • Checking inventory stocks and ingredient quality
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas
  • Assisting head chefs with kitchen service management
