Job Requirements
- Previous experience in a non-fast food restaurant or training at a culinary school required
- ServSafe Certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days of employment
- must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure
- able to keep up with a fast paced environment
- able to work late nights, weekends and holidays
- must be 18 years old
- able to perform with minimum supervision
- protective clothing required: slip resistant shoes
- U.S. work authorization required

- ServSafe Certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days
- ability to perform basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in all units of measure
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- ability to work late nights, weekends and holidays
- must be at least 18 years old
- ability to perform duties with minimum supervision
- knowledge of proper kitchen safety and sanitation practices
Job Duties
- Report to work on time according to posted schedule in specified uniform
- open and close the kitchen properly and follow the opening and closing checklist for kitchen stations
- measure and mix ingredients accurately, review modifications to recipes with Executive Chef or Kitchen Manager
- test food being cooked by properly taste testing and taking food temperatures using ServSafe procedures
- perform food preparation and cooking skills including measuring, washing, peeling, cutting, grilling, baking, roasting, broiling, steaming, carving and portioning foods
- monitor food quantities, quality and display during preparation
- stock work-station appropriately for each shift
- develop and have knowledge of restaurant's menu including ingredients and dish assembly
- date all food containers and rotate as needed, ensuring perishables are kept at proper temperatures
- clean work space after each shift including sanitation of station
- respect co-workers and managers
- maintain a fun, positive attitude and contribute to memorable guest experiences
- promote a positive perception of the company both internally and publicly
- perform other duties as assigned
