Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience working as a line cook or in a similar culinary role
  • knowledge of and adherence to food safety regulations
  • ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle kitchen tasks
  • ability to follow directions and work within a team environment

Job Duties

  • The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment
  • As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing and presenting meals that meet our restaurant's standards of excellence
  • This position requires attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to work collaboratively with other kitchen staff
  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
  • Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace
  • Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely service during peak hours
  • Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages or needed orders
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and cooking appliances
  • Support the dietary department by accommodating special dietary needs as required
