We are seeking a passionate and skilled Line Cook to join our team and uphold our reputation for flavor, quality, and consistency. This position is vital in ensuring that every plate served meets our exceptionally high standards. The Line Cook will play an instrumental role in the kitchen’s daily operations, from food preparation to plating, guaranteeing a smooth, efficient, and sanitary workflow throughout each shift. In this role, you will be entrusted with following established recipes, portion guidelines, and plating specifications to deliver an exceptional dining experience consistently.

The Line Cook position demands strong attention to detail, speed, and accuracy to meet the rigorous demands of a busy kitchen. You will need to remain organized, prioritize tasks under pressure, and demonstrate the ability to adapt quickly without compromising quality. This role also involves maintaining a clean and organized workstation, handling and rotating food for safety and freshness, and performing backup and prep duties as assigned by the Executive Chef or Sous Chef.

Successful candidates will thrive in our high-energy environment, possess problem-solving skills, and be comfortable working amidst the heat and stresses inherent in a professional kitchen. Physical stamina is essential, as the role requires standing for the entire shift, frequent reaching, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 40 pounds multiple times during service. Effective communication with team members is key to maintaining a cohesive and productive kitchen environment.

Job Duties

  • handle, store, and rotate food properly to ensure freshness and safety
  • follow recipes, portion guidelines, and plating specifications set by Home Team
  • maintain a sanitary and efficient workspace throughout prep and service
  • set up the steam table with proper water levels, heat food to correct temperatures, and ensure everything is ready for service as AM backup
  • maintain par levels by keeping the steam table stocked, heated, and service-ready as PM backup
  • follow prep lists from the Executive Chef or Sous Chef, ensuring all ingredients are properly prepared and stored during AM/PM prep
  • cook and assemble menu items from the station, ensuring quality and consistency during AM/PM line cook
