Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • ability to lift and carry up to 40-50 lbs
  • ability to work in a hot, fast-paced kitchen environment including a mobile kitchen trailer setup

Job Qualifications

  • Previous line cook experience required
  • leadership or lead experience preferred
  • strong knife skills
  • advanced understanding of cooking techniques
  • experience working multiple stations including grill, sauté, pantry, prep
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to lead by example in a fast-paced kitchen
  • dependability, professionalism, and strong work ethic
  • positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

Job Duties

  • Prepare and execute high-quality menu items across multiple service areas
  • lead and support line operations during service, ensuring timing, coordination, and quality standards are consistently met
  • work across multiple stations including grill, sauté, pantry, prep, and step in where needed to support service flow
  • assist with expediting and maintain clear communication with front-of-house during service
  • ensure all dishes leaving the line meet presentation and quality standards
  • support training and mentorship of seasonal and junior kitchen staff
  • monitor prep levels and communicate needs to culinary leadership
  • maintain proper food safety, sanitation, and kitchen organization
  • assist with inventory organization, prep planning, and station setup
  • serve as a point person on the line in the absence of a Sous Chef or Executive Chef
  • promote a positive, professional, and team-oriented kitchen environment
