Job Qualifications
- experience working as a cook in a fast-paced restaurant or club environment
- ability to lead a team and take direction
- strong understanding of kitchen sanitation and safety standards
- knowledge of Department of Health regulations
- excellent communication and teamwork skills
- culinary training or certification is a plus
Job Duties
- assist the Chef and Sous Chef in preparing food for all food outlets on the property
- perform other related food preparation tasks
- maintain kitchen sanitation and cleanliness as directed by the Executive Chef
- adhere to all procedural guidelines established by Alta Vista Country Club
- assume 100% responsibility for quality of food served
- comply with Department of Health regulations
- uphold a safe working condition
- assist with banquet food preparations and weekly kitchen specials
