Job Requirements

  • minimum of 2 years experience as a line cook
  • previous leadership experience in a kitchen setting preferred
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • strong communication and team leadership skills
  • availability to work flexible shifts including nights weekends and holidays
  • culinary degree or certification is advantageous

Job Qualifications

  • proven experience as a line cook with at least 2 years in a leadership role preferred
  • strong knowledge of cooking techniques food safety and sanitation practices
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends
  • culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus

Job Duties

  • supervise and coordinate the activities of the kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service
  • prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
  • maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment adhering to health and safety regulations
  • train and mentor junior line cooks providing guidance and support to enhance their skills
  • monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed
  • collaborate with the head chef to develop new menu items and improve existing recipes
  • ensure that all food is presented attractively and meets quality standards before serving
  • handle any kitchen-related issues or emergencies in a calm and efficient manner
