Job Requirements

  • Several years of culinary experience preferably in fine dining or similar establishments
  • Previous leadership experience in a kitchen environment
  • Knowledge of food safety protocols and health regulations

Job Duties

  • Lead and coordinate the daily activities of the kitchen team ensuring efficient food preparation and service
  • Oversee food safety protocols and maintain strict hygiene standards across all kitchen stations
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes with precision showcasing excellent knife skills and culinary techniques
  • Assist in menu planning and contribute creative ideas to enhance dining options
  • Supervise food handling procedures ensuring compliance with health regulations and industry best practices
  • Collaborate with dietary department staff to accommodate special dietary needs and menu modifications
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff fostering a positive team environment focused on continuous improvement
  • Manage food inventory levels order supplies as needed and minimize waste through effective stock control
