Job Requirements

  • Must be able to understand and comply with all company and departmental rules, policies and procedures
  • Must possess knowledge of use, cleaning and breakdown of equipment
  • Must be able to maintain a consistent work speed under normal conditions
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work with precision, follow instructions, problem solve, and meet time requirements
  • Ability to distinguish letters and symbols, perform simple reading, writing and math tasks
  • Flexibility to work shifts including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed
  • Ability to work under various conditions including noise, temperature, and crowding
  • Ability to lift and carry 76 - 100 lbs
  • Must have normal sense of smell, taste, touch and hearing

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff and guests
  • Knowledge of use, cleaning, and breakdown of kitchen equipment
  • Ability to maintain consistent work speed under normal conditions
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Understanding of safety and sanitation standards

Job Duties

  • Ensure the highest degree of sanitation and safety
  • Oversee production of line employees
  • Ensure open communication between service and cooking staff
  • Coordinate with room Chef on restaurant work needs
  • Prepare food items to specific standards
  • Maintain proper use, cleaning and handling of equipment and products
  • Maintain professionalism and knowledge of kitchen and storage areas
