Founded on principles of inclusivity and respect, Sodexo promotes a workplace culture where diversity is celebrated, and every individual's voice is valued. At University Hospitals Beachwood Medical Center, Sodexo partners with healthcare professionals to support the wellbeing of patients and staff through impeccable hygiene and facilities management services.

As a Lead Housekeeping Attendant at Sodexo, you will play a critical role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety across the medical center. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly wage of $20.00 and afternoon to evening shifts on varying days, details of which will be provided during the interview process. Your leadership and attention to detail are essential in delivering quality cleaning services that contribute to healthier and more comfortable environments for patients, visitors, and staff alike.

In this role, your responsibilities extend beyond regular cleaning duties; you will be tasked with overseeing and coordinating the housekeeping team, ensuring all assigned areas within the facility meet rigorous cleanliness standards. Your leadership duties may involve assigning tasks, providing training for new or existing team members, and monitoring work progress to maintain efficiency and quality.

Sodexo values dependability and teamwork, expecting you to arrive on time and maintain consistent attendance. Flexibility and adaptability are also important as task assignments may vary between accounts based on business needs and client requirements. With a minimum of two years of relevant work experience, you are equipped to help train staff and direct resources appropriately to meet operational goals. As a key player in the maintenance team, your commitment to promoting a safe and healthy work environment is vital.

Moreover, Sodexo invests in its employees’ growth by offering continuous training and development opportunities designed to help you advance your career. The company provides a supportive and flexible work environment that respects life’s important moments, making it possible for you to balance personal and professional demands effectively. Additional benefits include paid time off, holidays, comprehensive health insurance plans including medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, 401(k) plans, discount programs, and more. Some locations also offer extra perks such as free meals during shifts, subsidized transportation, uniforms, and safety shoes.

Joining Sodexo means becoming part of a company committed to social, economic, and environmental progress. You will be valued for who you are and encouraged to bring your authentic self to work every day. Sodexo promotes equal employment opportunities and fosters a culture of belonging where all employees, regardless of race, gender, age, or any other protected characteristic, are treated fairly and with respect. This role is more than just housekeeping; it is an opportunity to contribute to a better quality of life for hundreds of people every day, supporting the essential functions of a leading healthcare facility while growing personally and professionally within a globally respected organization.
