Crothall Healthcare is currently hiring for a full-time Lead Housekeeper position located at Novant Health - 3333 Silas Creek Parkway, Winston Salem, NC 27103. This role operates on the second shift from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, with rotating weekends and holidays to meet the dynamic needs of healthcare facilities. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in housekeeping or environmental services
- ability to work full time on the 2nd shift including weekends and holidays
- ability to perform physical tasks related to housekeeping
- capability to supervise and coordinate a team
- reliable attendance and punctuality
- ability to use cleaning equipment safely
- proficient in basic communication and documentation
Job Qualifications
- Prior housekeeping experience preferred
- leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- ability to train and guide staff effectively
- strong attention to detail
- good communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to resolve guest complaints professionally
- knowledge of cleaning standards and procedures
- ability to maintain and inspect cleaning equipment
Job Duties
- Supervises, trains and inspects housekeeping staff to ensure adherence to standards
- assists staff as needed to ensure high-quality service
- monitors staff attendance and documents late or absent employees
- resolves internal and external guest complaints to ensure satisfaction
- coordinates staff breaks and prepares assignment sheets
- assigns and secures keys, radios, and beepers
- checks equipment for supplies, cleanliness and functionality
- inspects cleaned areas to verify standards are met
- conducts staff training sessions
- maintains professionalism with customers and colleagues
- performs other duties as assigned
