Crothall Healthcare is currently hiring for a full-time Lead Housekeeper position located at Novant Health - 3333 Silas Creek Parkway, Winston Salem, NC 27103. This role operates on the second shift from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, with rotating weekends and holidays to meet the dynamic needs of healthcare facilities. The position comes with a fixed pay rate of $17.50 per hour and requires prior housekeeping experience, although all qualified applicants are encouraged to apply online.

As a Lead Housekeeper at Crothall Healthcare, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and service within healthcare environments. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior experience in housekeeping or environmental services
  • ability to work full time on the 2nd shift including weekends and holidays
  • ability to perform physical tasks related to housekeeping
  • capability to supervise and coordinate a team
  • reliable attendance and punctuality
  • ability to use cleaning equipment safely
  • proficient in basic communication and documentation

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Supervises, trains and inspects housekeeping staff to ensure adherence to standards
  • assists staff as needed to ensure high-quality service
  • monitors staff attendance and documents late or absent employees
  • resolves internal and external guest complaints to ensure satisfaction
  • coordinates staff breaks and prepares assignment sheets
  • assigns and secures keys, radios, and beepers
  • checks equipment for supplies, cleanliness and functionality
  • inspects cleaned areas to verify standards are met
  • conducts staff training sessions
  • maintains professionalism with customers and colleagues
  • performs other duties as assigned
