Currently, Coreworks is seeking to fill the full-time position of Lead Housekeeper at The Philadelphia Protestant Home, located at 6401 Martins Mill Road, Philadelphia, PA. This role is vital to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction within the facility. The Lead Housekeeper is responsible for supervising and training housekeeping staff, inspecting their work to ensure compliance with the organization’s standards, and providing exceptional customer service to the residents and guests. This position operates primarily during weekend shifts from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with flexible weekdays off, allowing for work-life balance. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two to three years of relevant housekeeping experience
- Proven supervisory or team lead experience
- Ability to work full time, including every weekend from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to perform physical tasks related to housekeeping
- Ability to communicate clearly with staff and guests
- Willingness to undergo background check and drug screening
Job Qualifications
- Two to three years of housekeeping experience
- Experience supervising and training staff

Job Duties
- Supervises and trains assigned housekeeping staff to ensure all procedures meet unit standards
- Assists staff to provide optimum service to guests
- Ensures assigned staff have reported to work and clocked in properly
- Documents late or absent employees and resolves attendance issues
- Coordinates assigned staff breaks and prepares assignment sheets
- Maintains accurate record and security of keys, radios, and beepers
- Inspects areas to confirm cleaning standards are met and addresses deficiencies
- Resolves internal and external guest complaints to ensure guest satisfaction
- Conducts staff training sessions and contributes to team professionalism
- Performs other duties as assigned
