The role of Lead Housekeeper is central to maintaining the cleanliness and operational efficiency of the healthcare environment. Job Requirements
- High school education or equivalent
- Experience in administrative support and/or healthcare preferred
- Ability to understand and communicate both verbally and in writing
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions
- Ability to operate/use department equipment
- Ability to read and write in English
- Ability to speak and hear for discussions
- Ability to remain calm under stress
- Ability to respond to telephone calls
- Physical ability to bend, lift (10-30 lbs), grasp, coordinate hand/eye movements, push and pull, and stand or sit for prolonged periods
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to understand and communicate verbally and in writing
- Experience in administrative support or healthcare preferred
- Ability to operate department equipment proficiently
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm under stress
- Basic mathematical ability for measurements and calculations
Job Duties
- Provide dispatch services and answer telephone calls
- Serve as the personal point of contact for dismissal cleaning personnel and others communicating with the office/storeroom area
- Enforce employee check-in/out supply and equipment policies and procedures
- Maintain an orderly and clean office/storeroom area
- Act as the departmental secretary
- Maintain professional demeanor in accordance with service excellence standards while interacting with patients, families, and coworkers
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned by supervisors
