Catering to both leisure and business travelers, the resort provides a wide array of dining options, ranging from rooftop dining experiences to casual seaside bars, ensuring there is something to delight every guest's palate. The Cavalier Resort prides itself on creating a welcoming and memorable environment that reflects the charm and vibrancy of Virginia Beach's oceanfront lifestyle.
We are currently seeking friendly, organized, and hospitality-focused Hosts and Hostesses to join our team on a full-time, part-time, and seasonal basis. These important roles serve as the first and last point of contact for our guests across multiple dining venues throughout the resort, including Orion's Roof, Becca, The Hunt Room, The Raleigh Room, Tulu Seaside Bar & Grill, Tacos N Tequila, The Deck, We Scream Ice Cream, and dining outlets within Embassy Suites by Hilton Virginia Beach Oceanfront Resort such as Arbuckle's Bar & Grill. This diversity of venues provides a dynamic work environment where hosts may have the opportunity to gain experience in a variety of dining concepts from upscale American fare to casual coastal dining and lively oceanfront tiki vibes.
As a Host or Hostess, you will be responsible for greeting guests warmly, managing the seating flow, assisting with reservation queries, and maintaining a clean and organized host stand. This role requires strong communication abilities, exceptional organizational skills, and the capacity to remain calm and professional during busy service periods. Candidates will be integral to ensuring a positive guest experience, coordinating closely with servers and management to optimize table turnover and service efficiency.
The position offers flexible scheduling options to accommodate a variety of needs, including days, evenings, weekends, and seasonal shifts. Full-time employees benefit from consistent schedules with eligibility for benefits, while part-time roles offer ideal flexibility for students or individuals seeking supplementary income. Seasonal positions provide great opportunities during peak resort seasons and summer months. Working at The Cavalier Resort means being part of a prestigious oceanfront property that values employee growth, teamwork, and a fantastic workplace environment. Employees enjoy dining discounts, access to multiple hospitality concepts, and the unique atmosphere of one of Virginia Beach's most iconic landmarks. This role offers an excellent starting point for a career in hospitality with the ability to develop skills across multiple food and beverage outlets within a high-end resort setting.
