We are currently looking for an experienced and professional Lead Host / Maître d' to join our exceptional team. This onsite role in Washington, DC involves managing reservations, greeting guests, seating them efficiently, and overseeing the dining room operations to ensure that service runs smoothly and guests enjoy an outstanding experience from start to finish. The Lead Host / Maître d' plays a critical role in coordinating the front-of-house flow, resolving guest inquiries and issues with poise, and motivating the host team to consistently deliver excellence in customer service.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of 2 years experience in a host or maître d' role in a high-volume restaurant
- proficiency with reservation management systems

Job Duties
- Greet guests warmly and professionally
- manage and coordinate reservations to maximize table turnover while honoring guest preferences
- seat guests promptly, considering special requests and party sizes
- address and resolve guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and courteous manner
- oversee the dining room to ensure smooth service and a positive guest experience
- maintain a clean, organized entrance and dining area, ensuring tables are set correctly
- monitor and adjust the dining flow to prevent bottlenecks and ensure guests are seated efficiently
