Job Description
Food Fight Restaurant Group is a dynamic and ambitious collection of hospitality professionals committed to fostering growth both within our teams and across our restaurants. We pride ourselves on creating a collaborative and supportive environment that nurtures professional development while minimizing the common stressors often associated with the restaurant industry. Founded on the principle that career advancement is accessible to anyone willing to work hard, 100 percent of our executive leadership team began their journey in Food Fight Restaurant Group in entry-level roles, highlighting our dedication to internal growth and promotion. As a well-recognized restaurant group, we continuously strive to extend autonomy and freedom to our leadership teams, enabling them to make impactful decisions that contribute to both personal and organizational success. We value flexibility, offering schedules that cater to the needs of our managers and the operational demands of our establishments, reflecting our understanding of work-life balance in the fast-paced hospitality industry.
The Lead Host position at Food Fight Restaurant Group is a pivotal role responsible for ensuring a seamless guest experience from the moment customers enter our restaurant. As the first point of contact, the Lead Host warmly greets customers, manages reservations or waiting lists, provides menus, and escorts guests to their seats. This role requires exceptional customer service skills, as the Lead Host may also address phone inquiries and respond to customer questions about the restaurant or the menu. Beyond guest interaction, the Lead Host supports restaurant staff by assisting with various tasks as needed, contributing to overall operational efficiency. A key responsibility includes managing the money drawer, alongside being the primary opener or closer for the restaurant. This role demands strong organizational skills, attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Emphasizing teamwork, the Lead Host works closely with both front-of-house and back-of-house teams to create a welcoming atmosphere and uphold the high standards of Food Fight Restaurant Group. Employees in this role benefit from a comprehensive compensation package and a supportive work environment committed to their professional and personal growth.
