Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Two-year post-secondary technical degree or minimum three years of experience in ground support equipment maintenance
- Proficiency in English
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience with programmable logic controllers such as Allen Bradley PLC5, SLC 500, Control Logix, and Micro Logix systems
- Ability to read and comprehend mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Thorough theoretical and hands-on knowledge of stationary ground support equipment including passenger boarding bridges, baggage conveyor systems, 400HZ ground power, and air conditioning chiller systems
Job Duties
- Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repair on stationary ground support equipment
- Complete data entry to record work assignments and communicate with company personnel
- Inspect, service, troubleshoot, repair, replace, and overhaul all stationary ground support equipment and components such as jetways and baggage conveyor systems
- Lead and supervise a team of Stationary Ground Maintenance Technicians, Mechanics, and Maintenance Utility employees in planning and executing maintenance work
- Utilize appropriate equipment and materials to accomplish routine and non-routine maintenance functions
- Practice safety and environmentally conscious behaviors in all operational processes
- Maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with operational standards
