Environmental compliance is another critical aspect of this role, requiring the technician to perform mandatory inspections of fuel system sumps and associated equipment, maintain compliance documentation, and manage regulated waste storage areas. Moreover, the technician will conduct fuel meter calibration checks and supervise contractors involved in calibration activities.

This role requires not only technical expertise but also a flexible schedule to meet business needs, occasionally extending beyond the typical Monday to Friday, 40-hour workweek to include weekends during high-demand periods. Physical demands include the ability to lift heavy equipment and perform various physical activities required in the inspection and maintenance process.
