HCA HealthONE operates more than 170 care sites throughout the Denver metro area, offering a wide range of services including seven acute care hospitals, a flagship pediatric hospital, a rehabilitation hospital, urgent care clinics, mental health campuses, imaging and surgery centers, physician practices, home and hospice care, and AirLife Denver, which provides critical care air and ground transportation. Rose Medical Center has built a strong reputation in the community, particularly known for maternity services through its Rose Babies program, comprehensive women’s care, and excellence in orthopedics, joint replacement, heart and vascular care, oncology, and weight loss treatments. The hospital is Magnet-designated for nursing excellence by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and is recognized for its charitable contributions and community involvement, being among the top corporate philanthropists in the region.
The Lead Food and Nutrition Associate role at HCA HealthONE Rose is a vital position that supports the hospital's mission of enhancing the quality of life for patients and those served by addressing holistic needs beyond medical care. Reporting to the Food Service Supervisor, this role involves various duties within patient and retail food services including room service operations, tray assembly and delivery, simple food preparation, washing pots and pans, catering, cashier responsibilities, and other kitchen tasks. The Lead Associate must be competent in all job functions and flexible to assist with other duties as assigned. The position earns an estimated hourly wage ranging between $19.29 and $24.81, depending on skills, experience, and other factors.
The role requires adherence to HCA HealthONE’s iCARE behavioral standards, which emphasize integrity, compassion, accountability, respect, and excellence. These values guide interactions with coworkers, providers, patients, families, and the wider community, ensuring a respectful and compassionate environment. The position demands excellent customer service skills, good judgment, reliability, and proficiency in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding English.
This employment opportunity offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support employees' health, wellness, career, and financial security. Benefits include medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, behavioral health, and telemedicine services; wellbeing support such as free counseling and referral services; paid time off, family leave, disability coverage, and leaves of absence; retirement and savings resources including a 401(k) plan with a 100% match on contributions from 3% to 9% of pay; educational assistance through tuition support, student loan aid, certification support, dependent scholarships, and partnerships with nursing schools; and additional benefits like fertility and family-building support, adoption assistance, life and supplemental health insurance, auto and home insurance, legal counseling, identity theft protection, and consumer discounts. This role provides a fulfilling opportunity to join a large healthcare organization that values individual growth, community impact, and ethical standards while contributing to high-quality patient care in a dynamic setting.
