Job Description

Product Connections, a subsidiary of Acosta Group, is a leading full-service marketing agency dedicated to revolutionizing how brands connect with consumers throughout their shopping journey. As part of the Acosta family, which comprises over 10,000 industry experts and more than 150 corporate employees, Product Connections specializes in digital and traditional retail events, experiential marketing, sponsorship activation, and omnichannel shopper marketing. The company is recognized for its innovative approach to marketing, focusing on delivering brand solutions that hit the right target at the right time, thereby effectively moving consumers through the conversion funnel.

Joining Product Connections means becoming part of a supportive, collaborative, and inclusive culture that encourages employees to think big, enhance their skills, and advance their careers. The company places high value on employee growth, recognizing that each individual’s ideas and contributions are crucial to building a successful future. Product Connections is committed to equal opportunity employment and provides reasonable accommodations for applicants with disabilities, reflecting their dedication to diversity and inclusion.

The role of the Associate at Product Connections involves executing in-store food and non-food demonstrations to promote and sell products professionally. This part-time position typically requires up to 25 hours per week but holds flexibility based on business or client needs. Associates are responsible for acquiring and maintaining thorough product knowledge to effectively engage and intercept consumers, highlighting product features and benefits. They prepare and serve food samples—including raw meats, produce, and eggs—while strictly adhering to food safety guidelines and handling various small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, and coffee makers.

Key responsibilities include managing and maintaining event equipment and supplies, ensuring cleanliness and security in designated backroom areas. Associates act as the point of contact for store events in the absence of a supervisor, communicating with store management regarding both upcoming and completed events. They provide leadership and support to the event team, assisting with preparation and set-up of event tables, and ensuring professional appearance and demeanor in line with company and retailer dress codes.

Associates are expected to complete all assigned tasks diligently, including preparation for client visits, audit corrections, expense report submissions, and digital documentation through photographs of event setups. Physical demands of the role include standing, walking, handling utensils safely, lifting weights up to 50 pounds occasionally, and maneuvering demonstration carts laden with supplies. A professional and neat appearance is mandatory, along with competency in English (bilingual skills are a plus), computer proficiency for navigating internal systems, and the possession of food safety certifications where applicable.

This role is ideal for motivated individuals with a background or interest in retail marketing, experiential events, and customer engagement. Product Connections offers a dynamic environment where associates can develop leadership skills, gain valuable industry experience, and contribute to impactful marketing campaigns in retail settings. The hourly wage for this position is $14.50, reflecting the company's commitment to fair compensation. Aspiring candidates should be prepared for a physically active, hands-on role that promotes brand awareness through direct consumer interaction and impeccable event execution.
