Job Description

Product Connections, a part of Acosta Group, is a leading full-service marketing agency renowned for its innovative approach to connecting brands with consumers through engaging retail events and demonstrations. As a vital division of Acosta Group, which comprises over 10,000 industry experts and more than 150 corporate employees, Product Connections specializes in digital and traditional retail marketing, experiential campaigns, sponsorship activation, and omnichannel shopper marketing. This extensive network and expertise allow them to deliver highly effective brand solutions designed to connect products with the right target audiences at the optimal time, ultimately driving consumer engagement and sales conversion.\n\nAt Product Connections, the culture is one of collaboration, support, and inclusion, fostering an environment where employees are encouraged to think creatively, develop their skills, and grow their careers. The company is committed to diversity and equal opportunity, providing reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities to ensure a welcoming and accessible workplace. They also emphasize professional integrity and compliance, including the use of E-Verify to validate employment eligibility within the United States.\n\nThe role of Associate within Product Connections is a part-time position, averaging up to 25 hours per week, with a competitive hourly wage of $16.00. This position is critical to the execution of in-store food and non-food product demonstrations, ensuring high-quality consumer interactions and brand representation. The Associate's primary responsibility lies in effectively managing and performing product sampling events, which involve preparing and serving food samples, engaging customers, and maintaining the requisite equipment and supplies. The individual in this role must have a keen eye for detail, professionalism in appearance, and the ability to communicate product benefits engagingly and knowledgeably.\n\nFunctioning as both a team member and, at times, a leader in the absence of the Supervisor, Associates ensure seamless event execution, liaising with store management to communicate event details and outcomes. They also provide support to fellow Event Specialists and contribute to audit preparations and client visit readiness. The role demands strict adherence to food safety standards, proper use of cooking appliances, and maintenance of cleanliness and safety in the work environment. Moreover, Associates document event success through digital photography and timely submission of reports, enhancing client satisfaction and continuous improvement.\n\nThis position requires physical stamina and agility due to the need to stand, walk, lift, carry, and use cooking equipment regularly. The ideal candidate possesses a high school diploma or GED, or equivalent training, holds relevant food safety certifications, and demonstrates proficient computer skills necessary for navigating internal systems and completing online responsibilities. Bilingual abilities can be advantageous depending on business needs, emphasizing the company’s commitment to serving diverse communities. Joining Product Connections means becoming part of an innovative team dedicated to driving forward-thinking marketing solutions in retail environments while supporting personal and professional development in a dynamic workplace.
