Job Description
Product Connections, a division of Acosta Group, is a leading full-service marketing agency specializing in retail event marketing, experiential marketing, sponsorship activations, digital and traditional retail demonstrations, and omnichannel shopper marketing strategies. Acosta Group is among the most trusted industry leaders, known for their innovative approach to connecting brands and consumers at every point in the shopping journey. With over 10,000 experts and more than 150 corporate employees, the company fosters a collaborative, inclusive, and growth-oriented culture that encourages career development and innovation. Product Connections prides itself on delivering impactful brand solutions that effectively move consumers down the conversion funnel by connecting the right product to the right target at the right time.
This job opportunity is for the role of Associate within Product Connections, focusing on executing in-store food and non-food product demonstrations and events. The role primarily involves engaging customers in a retail environment by demonstrating products, offering samples, and professionally representing the brand. The Associate plays an essential role in managing event materials and equipment, ensuring supplies are maintained and stored properly, and maintaining a clean and safe workstation consistent with food safety standards. This part-time role typically requires no more than 25 hours per week, although schedule flexibility is necessary to meet the evolving needs of the business and clients. The Associate also serves as a vital communication link to store management, especially in the absence of a Supervisor, ensuring seamless event execution and client satisfaction.
The responsibilities also extend to leadership and teamwork, assisting other team members with materials, providing training support, and maintaining a professional appearance aligned with company and client standards. This position requires the ability to interact positively and proactively with customers, communicating product features and benefits effectively, and showcasing aptitude in food preparation using various kitchen appliances in compliance with safety regulations. The role demands physical stamina, including the ability to lift and carry materials, stand for extended periods, use hands dexterously, and maintain balance and mobility within the retail store environment. Product Connections ensures equal opportunity, providing reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities, affirming a workplace where diversity and inclusion are prioritized.
In joining Product Connections, Associates become part of a dynamic team dedicated to innovative marketing execution within retail settings. The role's scope emphasizes precision, professionalism, customer engagement, and adherence to food safety and company policies. Associates also play a crucial role in documenting event success through digital photography and expense reporting, enhancing the visibility and impact of retail marketing campaigns. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking a flexible, engaging position within a reputable marketing agency committed to career growth, collaboration, and delivering powerful brand connections across various retail channels. Candidates interested in representing iconic brands through hands-on demonstrations and engaging consumers directly will find this role rewarding and professionally fulfilling.
