Job Description
Product Connections, a division of the Acosta Group, is a leading marketing agency specializing in retail events, experiential marketing, and omnichannel shopper marketing. Acosta Group is a collective of some of the industry’s most trusted retail, marketing, and foodservice agencies, working together to redefine the way brands connect with consumers at every stage of their shopping experience. With over 10,000 field experts and more than 150 corporate professionals, Acosta Group fosters an inclusive, collaborative, and innovative culture that encourages employees to grow their skills and advance their careers. This company emphasizes delivering effective brand solutions designed to move consumers down the conversion funnel by targeting the right audience with the right message at the right time.
Product Connections is seeking an Associate to play a vital role in executing in-store product demonstrations and events. The Associate will be responsible for managing and maintaining the equipment and supplies necessary for these events, ensuring compliance with food safety guidelines, and interacting with consumers to promote and sell products in a professional and engaging manner. This position requires someone who can work independently and collaboratively, serve as the key point of contact in the absence of a supervisor, and provide leadership and support to the event team.
The role includes preparing and serving food samples using various kitchen appliances, maintaining a clean and safe workstation, and effectively communicating product features and benefits. Additionally, the Associate will assist in audit preparations and client visits, document successful events through photography, and complete all reporting and expense documentation in a timely manner. Although the position is part-time, typically not exceeding 25 hours per week, the company retains the flexibility to adjust hours based on business needs.
This position requires adherence to a professional appearance consistent with company and retailer dress codes and the ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting up to 25 pounds (with occasional lifting up to 50 pounds), and operating demonstration equipment. The Associate must have strong communication skills in English, with bilingual abilities considered a plus depending on business necessity. Food safety certification and local food handler permits are also required to ensure compliance with health regulations.
Joining Product Connections means becoming part of a dynamic team that values innovation, collaboration, and career growth. As an equal opportunity employer, Acosta Group is committed to providing reasonable accommodations to applicants with disabilities. This opportunity offers a chance to contribute meaningfully to brand marketing efforts while developing valuable skills in a supportive environment.
