Job Description

Product Connections is a dynamic marketing agency that operates as part of the Acosta Group, an esteemed collective of premier retail, marketing, and foodservice agencies. The company is recognized for its innovation in bridging brands with consumers at every stage of their shopping journey. With a workforce exceeding 10,000 experts in the field and over 150 corporate employees, Product Connections offers a diverse range of talents and vast experience, redefining what it means to be a modern marketing agency. They specialize in delivering full-service marketing solutions, including digital and traditional retail events and demos, experiential marketing, sponsorship activation, and omnichannel shopper marketing. The company places high importance on fostering a supportive, collaborative, and inclusive workplace culture. Employees at Product Connections are encouraged to think creatively, enhance their skills, and pursue career advancement in a nurturing environment where their contributions influence company success and client satisfaction.

The Associate role at Product Connections is a critical position responsible for executing in-store food and non-food product demonstrations effectively. The associate is expected to develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the products they represent to create engaging and informative consumer interactions. This role requires a professional demeanor, both in appearance and conduct, to reflect the company’s standards. Key responsibilities include managing event execution equipment within retail stores, ensuring all promotional materials and supplies are maintained and stored properly, and communicating efficiently with store management and team members, especially in the absence of a supervisor. The associate acts as a point person, assisting other event specialists, supporting leadership initiatives, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations during sample preparation.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to interact proactively and positively with consumers to boost product sales. Essential skills include the ability to prepare and serve food samples safely, maintain cleanliness in the work area, and operate small kitchen appliances such as microwaves, fryers, and coffee makers. They must complete assigned tasks thoroughly, uphold company policies, and submit expense reports and event-related documentation promptly. A high school diploma or equivalent, coupled with experience or training in food handling, is necessary. The role expects physical capabilities such as standing, walking, lifting, and using cooking tools safely within a retail environment.

Working in a retail setting with limited travel, the Associate role typically does not exceed 25 hours per week, although flexibility is required based on business needs. Product Connections, as an equal opportunity employer, supports reasonable accommodations to enable individuals with disabilities to succeed in the position. The company’s commitment to employee development and client success makes this role an excellent opportunity for candidates seeking to grow their career in retail marketing and event execution. This position offers a stable, supportive environment with opportunities to contribute meaningfully to brand promotion and consumer engagement.
