Within this dynamic company, the role of Associate at Product Connections centers on executing in-store food and non-food product demonstrations that engage consumers and drive product sales. This position is part-time, typically not exceeding 25 hours per week, with a pay rate of $14.50 per hour. The Associate plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional brand experiences by professionally demonstrating products, answering customer questions, and maintaining a high standard of professionalism and appearance.
The Associate is responsible for managing all event-related equipment and supplies, ensuring they are maintained, clean, and securely stored in the designated store area. In the absence of a Supervisor, the Associate acts as the primary point of contact for store management and other event specialists, providing leadership and coordination for all ongoing events. This responsibility includes overseeing event setup, assisting with client visits, completing audit corrections, and ensuring compliance with food safety guidelines. The role demands a proactive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of the products represented to effectively engage customers and facilitate sales.
Job duties also include preparing and serving food samples, which may involve handling raw ingredients such as meats, poultry, produce, and eggs, using various small kitchen appliances like microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives safely and effectively. The Associate must maintain a clean, sterile workstation using appropriate cleaning chemicals and adhere to all health and safety regulations. Additionally, the role requires digital documentation of event setups through photography and the timely submission of required online reports and expense documentation. The work environment is primarily in a retail store setting with limited travel, and physical demands include standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders, and other activities related to demonstration execution.
Overall, this position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in marketing and retail product demonstrations while being part of a large and respected agency that values employee growth and inclusion. Joining Product Connections means becoming part of a team dedicated to connecting consumers with brands in meaningful ways and supporting a culture of innovation and collaboration.
