Job Description

Product Connections is a leading marketing agency and a proud division of Acosta Group, a collective of the industry’s most trusted retail, marketing, and foodservice agencies. With a comprehensive approach to connecting consumers with brands, Product Connections specializes in executing digital and traditional retail events, in-store demonstrations, experiential marketing campaigns, sponsorship activation, and omnichannel shopper marketing initiatives. The company operates with over 10,000 field experts alongside more than 150 corporate employees, bringing a dynamic blend of talent and industry experience to the forefront of marketing excellence. This environment fosters a culture of collaboration, innovation, and inclusivity, where employees are empowered to grow their skill sets, contribute meaningful ideas, and build rewarding careers.

The Associate role at Product Connections is a pivotal position within the retail marketing sphere, focusing on the execution of in-store food and non-food product demonstrations. This part-time opportunity, generally capped at 25 hours per week, offers flexibility while placing an emphasis on proactive customer engagement and brand representation. As an Associate, you will be responsible for delivering compelling, professional demonstrations that enhance consumer interaction and drive product sales. You will maintain extensive knowledge about the products and services represented, utilizing this expertise to effectively communicate features and benefits to shoppers.

A significant aspect of this role includes managing the event execution equipment and supplies, ensuring everything is kept clean, organized, and secure in the designated backroom areas of the retail store. The Associate also supports supervisory functions by acting as the primary liaison with store management during the Supervisor's absence, ensuring seamless communication regarding event planning and post-event execution. Leadership, teamwork, and strong interpersonal skills are fundamental as the Associate assists other Event Specialists and contributes positively to the team’s dynamic.

Working closely with store personnel, the Associate builds and maintains strong rapport to meet both company and client objectives, acknowledging that these relationships are vital in facilitating a successful in-store experience. The role requires excellent communication skills, a professional appearance at all times, and strict adherence to food safety guidelines when preparing and serving samples, including raw meats, produce, and eggs. Preparedness to handle various small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, and coffee makers is also essential.

The company values safety and compliance, requiring Associates to report any workplace injuries promptly and maintain a sterile and safe workstation using appropriate cleaning chemicals. This position offers an engaging and fast-paced work environment within retail stores, providing an excellent opportunity for those looking to develop their career in marketing, sales, and consumer engagement within a respected and supportive organization. Product Connections and Acosta Group are committed to equal employment opportunities and provide accommodations for individuals with disabilities to ensure an inclusive workplace.

Join Product Connections and become part of a company that prioritizes employee growth, innovation, and impact. Here, your efforts directly contribute to powerful brand experiences shaping consumer decisions and enhancing shopping journeys across the nation. This is more than a job; it’s a pathway to a dynamic and fulfilling career where your contributions are valued and your professional development is supported.
