Job Description

Product Connections is a leading marketing agency and a part of the Acosta Group, which is known for reimagining the way people connect with brands throughout the retail, marketing, and foodservice industries. With a collective of over 10,000 experts and more than 150 corporate employees, Acosta Group specializes in a diverse range of services including digital and traditional retail events, experiential marketing, sponsorship activations, and omnichannel shopper marketing. The company’s mission is centered on delivering brand solutions that connect consumers with the right products at the right time, effectively driving conversions and enhancing the overall shopping experience. The culture at Product Connections fosters support, collaboration, and inclusivity, encouraging employees to think innovatively, grow their skills, and elevate their careers within a dynamic work environment. As an equal opportunity employer, Acosta Group is committed to providing reasonable accommodations for applicants with disabilities and ensures fair practices with tools such as E-Verify to validate work eligibility in the United States.

The Associate role at Product Connections primarily involves completing in-store food and non-food product demonstrations to engage and connect with consumers effectively. This part-time position compensates at a rate of $16.50 per hour, with an expected commitment of up to 25 hours per week, although there may be flexibility based on business or client needs. The Associate is responsible for acquiring and maintaining deep product knowledge to communicate the benefits and features convincingly and professionally. Responsibilities include serving and demonstrating products, intercepting shoppers, selling products in an engaging manner, and managing event execution equipment in retail stores. Maintaining a professional appearance and adhering to retailer-specific dress codes are critical components of the role.

Additional duties encompass managing and securing event materials, supporting event logistics when supervisors are absent, and assisting other event specialists with kits and tools. Associates are expected to prepare and serve food samples using a variety of small appliances while complying strictly with food safety guidelines, including handling raw meats, produce, and eggs safely and hygienically. The role demands physical activity, including standing, walking, lifting up to 25 pounds regularly, occasional lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders, and maintaining a clean, sterile work station. Associates must demonstrate excellent communication skills, the ability to engage consumers proactively, and the capacity to build rapport with retail personnel to support company and client-related objectives.

This job also involves administrative responsibilities like completing expense reports, submitting online documentation related to event execution on the same day, and photographing the table setups to provide clients with success documentation. The Associate plays an important leadership role in supporting supervisors and stepping in when they are absent, serving as the point of contact with store management regarding event execution and follow-ups. The role suits individuals passionate about engaging consumers through interactive retail experiences and those who thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. By joining Product Connections, Associates become part of a vibrant team dedicated to connecting brands and consumers in meaningful ways that enhance shopping journeys and elevate brand visibility.
