The role of Associate within Product Connections focuses primarily on completing in-store food and non-food product demonstrations to engage consumers and boost product sales effectively. This position involves acquiring and maintaining in-depth knowledge of the products represented, ensuring that customer interactions are professional, informative, and compelling. As an Associate, you will be responsible for managing event execution equipment within stores, maintaining cleanliness and security of demonstration supplies stored in designated areas. The role demands proactive engagement with customers, demonstrating product features and benefits, and delivering excellent sampling experiences while adhering to food safety guidelines. This hands-on position also includes preparing and serving food samples — from raw meats and produce to various cooked items — using small appliances like microwaves, fryers, skillets, and coffeemakers. Maintaining a clean, sterile, and safe workstation is critical, as is presenting a professional appearance that aligns with the company standards.

Additionally, Associates serve as vital points of contact in the absence of Supervisors, communicating with store management about upcoming and executed events, assisting team members with event materials, and providing leadership to ensure smooth event operations. This position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask effectively, and a strong sense of accountability, including submitting timely reports, photographing event setups to document client success, and building positive relationships with store personnel. The typical workload for this role does not exceed 25 hours per week, although flexibility is needed to accommodate changing business needs.
