Job Requirements
- high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three months related experience and/or training
- food safety professional certification or local food handlers permit if required
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- ability to handle and prepare food safely and hygienically
- ability to use small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers and knives
- physical ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds with occasional lifting up to 50 pounds
- ability to perform various physical actions such as stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, balance, push and pull demonstration carts
- proficiency in using personal computers and mobile devices
- professional appearance and adherence to dress code
- good communication skills in English
- willingness to work up to 25 hours per week
- ability to work in a retail store environment
Job Qualifications

- ability to prepare and serve food samples using various small appliances

Job Duties
- complete in-store food and non-food demonstrations
- acquire and maintain knowledge of products represented
- serve, demonstrate, intercept consumers and sell products professionally
- manage and maintain event execution equipment and supplies
- communicate with store management about upcoming and past events when supervisor is absent
- act as point person for events during supervisor absence
- assist other event specialists with event kits, materials and tools as needed
- maintain a clean, sterile and safe work station
- prepare and serve food samples complying with food safety guidelines
- set up and prepare event table for execution
- complete expense reports as per company policy
- prepare and submit all on-line requirements on the same day as event execution
- take digital photos of perfect table setup
- build and maintain rapport with store personnel
- assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections
- maintain professional appearance and grooming consistent with job requirements
