Job Description
Based in Sioux Falls, SD, our company specializes in the manufacturing of advanced analytical instrumentation used across various industries. We pride ourselves on precision engineering and the ability to produce high-quality electro-mechanical products that meet rigorous industry standards. Our facility is equipped with modern tools and technologies to support the assembly, testing, and maintenance of analytical instruments, ensuring they deliver reliable performance in demanding environments. We focus on continuous improvement and innovation, supporting our team members in their professional growth and success. We offer a collaborative working environment where quality, safety, and efficiency are prioritized, aligning with our commitment to deliver exceptional products to our customers worldwide.
We are currently seeking a Lead Electro-Mechanical Assembly professional to join our dynamic production team. This role involves overseeing the assembly of small and large electro-mechanical components for analytical instrumentation, including custom designs tailored to specific client requirements. The Lead Electro-Mechanical Assembly position is a supervisory role responsible for the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of analyzer production. The individual in this role will interpret complex schematics, blueprints, and drawings to assemble components precisely according to specifications. Key responsibilities include soldering electrical components, connecting cables and tubes, performing maintenance on tooling and cutting machines, and ensuring that each unit passes rigorous inspection and testing procedures.
The Lead Electro-Mechanical Assembly professional will also manage the production workflow, maintain an organized workstation, and oversee inventory for spare parts and gas supplies used in analyzer testing. This role requires a high level of technical skill and attention to detail, including the use of measuring tools, hand and power tools, and the ability to read and follow detailed procedural documentation. Candidates with experience in wire and PCB soldering, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with management, will find this position to be an excellent career opportunity.
This position demands a commitment to safety, with regular exposure to hazardous situations such as high-speed machinery and gas analyzing equipment requiring the use of protective gear. We emphasize transparent and equitable pay practices; the salary range for this position is $24.50 to $33.00 per hour, reflecting role complexity, location, experience, and internal equity. We encourage open discussions about compensation during the hiring process. Join our team of skilled professionals dedicated to manufacturing excellence and innovation in analytical instrumentation.
