The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and implementing age-appropriate, play-based, and faith-integrated curriculum and activities that support holistic child development. Working on Tuesdays and Thursdays, the teacher will create engaging lessons through songs, storytelling, movement, and art that captivate young learners and support their spiritual and educational growth. In addition, the Preschool Lead Teacher will assess student progress and collaborate closely with parents and the Preschool Director to ensure every child reaches their full potential. A key part of the role involves managing the classroom environment to promote calmness, organization, safety, and positive behavior, while modeling Christ-like patience, kindness, and grace. This role also requires adherence to state licensing regulations and ongoing professional development to ensure compliance with health and safety standards. Further responsibilities include guiding assistant teachers and fostering classroom community, building strong family engagement through consistent communication, and participating in school-wide events.
