Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of experience in a food or healthcare setting
  • ServeSafe Certification or willingness to obtain within three months
  • Ability to follow dietary and food safety regulations
  • Capacity to work independently and in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good physical stamina

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Foster an environment of hospitality for residents and guests
  • Ensure accuracy of diets and meal service in the absence of the Nutrition Services Manager
  • Prepare and serve therapeutically correct diets following established menu guidelines
  • Collaborate with Dietitians, Managers, and Chefs in food preparation
  • Perform short order cooking for meal service
  • Enforce policies and regulatory guidelines for safe food handling and sanitation
  • Support professional development and wellness initiatives
