Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must provide proof of U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency
- Must provide proof of work authorization and complete an I-9 and E-Verify process
- Must complete pre-employment background check if applicable
- Must complete pre-employment drug screen if applicable
- Must have California Food Handlers Card if applicable
- Must complete pre-employment motor vehicle record check if applicable
- Physically able to be on feet during entire shift with ability to walk, bend, stoop, twist, reach, pull, push, kneel, and crouch
- Must be able to lift 35 lbs and carry 12 lb backpack vacuum as needed
Job Qualifications
- Lead janitorial experience is preferred but not required
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required
- Open availability to allow for overtime work, schedule adjustments, and holiday work as needed
- Proficiency in English for effective communication
Job Duties
- Directly oversees a team on a day-to-day basis
- Direct activities of all personnel assigned assuring all maintenance is completed in compliance with established company policies and procedures
- Promote a culture of safety by ensuring work is performed within company safety guidelines
- Train personnel
- Perform inspections and communicate all findings to the appropriate manager assigned
- Ensure that personnel are using proper / appropriate cleaning products and tools
- Ensure that personnel are following dress code guidelines
- Respond quickly to all emergency situations
- Assist staff with janitorial duties
- Submits supply inventory to the manager
- Must keep janitor’s closet neat and orderly and maintain equipment in good working order
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned
