Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older and pass background checks
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods
  • Ability to climb ladders and navigate stairs
  • Physical fitness to respond to emergency situations
  • Ability to work in varied environments including extreme temperatures and noisy areas
  • Clear vision and color differentiation for reading warning signs and labels
  • Experience in supervisory roles
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of safety standards and chemical handling
  • Effective communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in janitorial, facility services, or data center environments
  • Advanced knowledge of commercial cleaning methods and equipment
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication abilities
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and work order systems
  • Customer service orientation
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Reliability and professionalism

Job Duties

  • Manage a team of up to 10 porters including performance reviews and disciplinary reports
  • Develop shift schedules, resolve conflicts, and track labor costs
  • Act as the primary operational contact for data center clients and provide professional reporting
  • Perform unscheduled spot checks and formal quality assurance audits
  • Utilize Microsoft Office and facility systems to manage work requests and maintenance tickets
  • Ensure team compliance with safety standards and conduct safety spot checks
  • Oversee cleaning and maintenance of floors and surfaces, and coordinate event setup
