Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Completion of culinary art courses or equivalent experience
  • Minimum two years’ experience as a line broiler and fry cook in high-volume settings
  • Must obtain and maintain a Food handler's card
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong commitment to customer service excellence
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Job Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred

Job Duties

  • Broil steak chops, fish, and poultry according to order
  • Toast bread and prepare waffles and pancakes using prepared mixes or recipes
  • Mix ingredients for cooked and uncooked desserts such as pudding custard, gelatin, and fruit desserts
  • Wash, peel, cut, seed, and cook vegetables according to recipes
  • Oversee the preparation and instruction of preparation for all recipes
  • Inventory supplies of food and prepare requisitions
  • Carve meat or prepare specialties of the house
  • Ensure the safety and security of guests and employees
  • Perform other duties as assigned
