Job Description

Forefront is a dedicated organization committed to enhancing lives through exceptional culinary and support services within healthcare settings. Our mission revolves around providing a clean, safe, and comfortable environment that supports the healing and well-being of those we serve. Rooted deeply in our core values of Tenacity, Integrity, Creativity, Service Excellence, Safety, and Caring, Forefront is not just a service provider but a compassionate partner in health recovery and support. Employees at Forefront play a vital role in upholding these principles by delivering consistent, high-quality culinary services that meet federal, state, and local regulations.

As a healthcare-focused food service provider, Forefront understands the unique nature of the healthcare environment. We emphasize safety protocols and hygiene standards, ensuring that our food preparation areas and processes withstand rigorous sanitation policies. Our team members help maintain the delicate balance necessary in healthcare facilities by adhering to strict standards of food handling, storage, and preparation to prevent contamination and promote patient health.

The role we offer is an hourly non-exempt position that requires dedicated individuals ready to work flexible hours including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. This role is perfect for candidates who take pride in their work and enjoy contributing to the comfort and well-being of others in a clinical setting. The food preparation duties involve preparing nutritious, appetizing meals for residents and patients following detailed, established recipes and portion controls. Our culinary team members are trained and supported to manage high-pressure situations calmly and professionally, working independently or as part of a dynamic team.

This position requires a responsible professional committed to safety and compliance. Aside from culinary skills, employees will oversee inventory management and receive goods while coordinating with Executive Chef or Chef Manager on menus and special dietary requests. Emphasis is placed on following therapeutic and mechanically altered diet requirements strictly, ensuring every meal contributes to patient recovery and nutrition.

Working at Forefront means embracing continuous growth and learning. We provide on-the-job training and skill development opportunities for team members aiming to advance their careers. Our competitive benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and participation in a 401(k) plan, promoting overall well-being for our staff. More importantly, our supportive culture allows employees to work alongside respectful, cohesive teams that emphasize doing the job right and making a meaningful impact every day. If you are passionate about food service and eager to contribute to healthcare through your culinary talents, Forefront offers a fulfilling career path with purpose and integrity.
