As a Lead Cook at Concord Hospitality, your role is pivotal in defining the culinary standards and creating high-quality dining experiences for our guests. The Lead Cook position involves overseeing food preparation and cooking while ensuring that all meals are consistently prepared according to brand recipe cards. This role requires a keen attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining safety and sanitation standards. You will play an integral role in supporting the kitchen team by managing food inventory, following proper food rotation standards, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Punctuality, professionalism, and a proactive approach to your duties are vital to excelling in this position. The Lead Cook is expected to cook guest orders with precision and attention, catering to special dietary needs and requests in a positive manner. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior cooking or kitchen experience preferred
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • prepare food of consistent quality by following brand recipe cards
  • properly document all food containers and adhere to rotation standards per SOP
  • practice safety standards at all times to maintain a safe work environment
  • report to work in a clean uniform, on time, and ready to serve
  • cook orders with attention to guest requests and special needs in a positive manner
  • be proactive with ordering, pars, food preparation, and equipment upkeep to eliminate service obstacles
